This three DVD set includes the world-premiere of MX's interactive visual commentary feature. This feature enables the viewer to easily access an intimate full-length visual commentary by Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey which runs throughout the Tommy and Quadrophenia performances. The feature creates the sense of watching the concerts in the company of Pete and Roger as they explain the narrative of the rock operas and tell the stories behind the songs. The viewer can turn the feature on and off at any time by simply pressing the enter button on the DVD remote control.

The DVD menus, cover art, and special features were designed and produced by MX Entertainment.  The visual commentary feature was directed by MX Entertainment's Zane Vella. The DVDs were authored by Technicolor Creative Services in London and the project is being distributed worldwide by Warner Music Group.

MX Entertainment produced state-of-the-art interactive features on Discs One and Two that give the viewer more choice and more control of their DVD experience. MX features include five "Select-A-Cam" songs during the high energy "Live From Atlanta" concert film.  "Select-A- Cam" offers the viewer choices between Usher close-ups, intimate dancer shots, concert visuals and audience shots from chart-topping hits including "Burn" and "My Way".  Disc one includes the world premiere of a new MX DVD technology that lets viewers direct their own version of "Caught Up" using the up and down arrow buttons on their remote control.

The DVD features five MX powered concert visuals synched with the director's cut, 16x9 widescreen presentation, a photo gallery, backstage video, and a bonus audio CD. The full-length show was directed by MX's Zane Vella and recorded with 10 HiDef cameras. The DVD includes both a Dolby stereo and 5.1 audio mix. Alive at Red Rocks is an Epic/Sony release.
